Welcome to Our Virtual Annotation Experience: August 2026

Hi! I’m so glad you’re joining me for this 2-part live event!

What to Expect:

• Class will be held on: August 3, 2026 at 8pm EST & August 17, 2026 at 8pm EST

• Book: The Next Ship Home by Heather Webb (historical fiction)

• Each class will be approximately one hour in length

• This class is presentation style

• I will be reading to you and guiding you through the annotation process

• You will be annotating

You will learn:

• Why readers annotate

• What annotation supplies can be used and what they are used for

• How an annotation plan is decided

• How to organize your annotation materials

• How to get started with annotation

• How to adjust your annotation plan

• How to use the provided reading tracker and stay motivated

• How to use the annotation process to enhance your reading experience

Materials Needed:

• Book: The Next Ship Home by Heather Webb

• Pencils

• Highlighters - at least 2 different colors (no bleed kind)

• Tabs - at least 4 different colors

• Amazon Supply List

  • It doesn’t matter what kind or where you get your supplies. I put a list together in the link above if that is helpful for anyone. 

IMPORTANT

• A reading log/tracker will be email to the address your provided on July 27, 2026

• Zoom links will be emailed to the address you provided at checkout at least 24 hours prior.

• **All sales are final due to the digital nature of this experience.

• Please make sure you’re able to access Zoom prior to the event. 

• Zoom events will not be recorded.
